Chatbox

Chatbox is a cross-platform desktop AI chat client. Configure it as an OpenAI API provider to connect to FIM Gate.

Setup

1. Open Chatbox and go to Settings → Model.

2. Set Model Provider to OpenAI API.

3. For API Key, enter a key you created in the Console.

4. For API Host, enter:

   https://api.gate.fim.ai

   Chatbox automatically appends the /v1 path to the host, so do not include /v1 here.

5. In the model field, select or enter the model name you want to use (e.g. gpt-5.2), then save the settings.

Go back to the chat view and send a message. If you receive a reply, the configuration is working.
