NextChat

NextChat (ChatGPT Next Web) is a lightweight, self-hostable chat application. It supports one-click configuration via a link as well as manual setup.

Option 1: One-click configuration via URL parameters

In the link below, replace {url} with your NextChat deployment address and {key} with your FIM Gate key, then open it in a browser to complete the configuration:

Option 2: Manual configuration

1. Open NextChat, go to Settings, and enable the custom endpoint.

2. For Endpoint, enter (without /v1):

   https://api.gate.fim.ai

3. For API Key, enter a key you created in the Console.

Adding non-OpenAI models

By default, NextChat only lists OpenAI models. To use models from other vendors such as Claude or Gemini, add them in Settings → Custom Models using the +model-name@OpenAI format, so requests still go through the OpenAI-compatible protocol. For example:

+claude-3-opus-20240229@OpenAI

Once added, the model will appear in the model selector.
